Global Diversity Practice, a leading diversity and inclusion consultancy, wanted to ensure its team lived its brand values internally and with clients. As experts in fostering inclusive cultures for others, it knew the importance of “walking the talk.” But how could it move beyond simply stating values to embodying them as a team?
The Solution
As part of a team away day, Global Diversity Practice engaged a Certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitator to run an innovative workshop focussed on their core values. The goal was to create a shared understanding of how each team member could embody these values in their daily work.
The Workshop Process
- Individual Exploration: Each team member built personal LEGO® models representing their understanding of each company’s value.
- Small Group Collaboration: Participants then worked in small teams to combine their models into shared representations, fostering discussion and alignment.
- Team-Wide Integration: The entire group shared the unified models embodying all the company values, cementing a collective vision.
